The room was spacious with tatami flooring, had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a bidet. Amenities like a refrigerator, slippers, and yukata were nice touches. Had an absolute blast exploring the authentic experiences here, especially enjoying the traditional Japanese breakfast and relaxing in the serene onsen after long days out. The leisure area was cozy and a perfect spot to unwind with a book. Just a heads up, the luggage storage policy was a bit strict, so plan your checkout times accordingly! 😊

spacious guest rooms, on-site community bath, proximity to public transportation
The public bath could use some updates to accommodate larger groups!!! Also, the strong smell of chlorine in the men's hot tub was off-putting during our visit.

We had a great time! The staff was super friendly, and the convenient location near some lesser-known spots made our trip unique. We walked to Gion and enjoyed nearby eateries. The rooms were spacious and the onsen experience was refreshing. Don't miss the traditional breakfast!
However, we found the curfew at midnight stressful. I lost track of time and couldn't get a hold of them, so I worried about being locked out.
